Every year, during the Christmas season, a group of dedicated individuals (which I am one of them), embark on a journey to bring joy, nourishment, and hope to the underserved communities in these rural areas. Together, they selflessly donate food, clothes, and toys, making a significant impact.
The Bateys and their Challenges:
The Bateys are small settlements in the Dominican Republic that are home to predominantly Haitian migrant workers and their families. These communities often face numerous socio-economic challenges.
My Philanthropic Mission:
My philanthropic mission began several years ago when they were deeply moved by the plight of the Batey communities.
